Our new home will be in the Sellwood District. It's just 7 minutes southeast from downtown Portland and it's located right on the Willamette River. The streets are quite and lined with mature trees. Its a great family neighborhood where you'll see couples pushing strollers and walking there dogs. It has a street of locally owned shops and restaurants. Sellwood is known for there antique shops. It's very bike friendly and links up to all the main bike paths into and around Portland. My favorite part about the Sellwood District is the bungalow style homes and the Sellwood Park that sits right on the river. I cannot wait to be spending my days in this lazy quite community!

Green, Green and MORE Green....

Just a few shots of the streets in downtown Portland that we experienced last April. I had completely forgotten what a real spring feels like. As we were walking around, trying to soak it all in, it felt like we were in a Monet painting with all the vibrant colors around us.

Papa Haydn

Papa Haydn is one of the best Austrian restaurants in Portland. Its a childhood favorite and I took Andrew there for the first time in April. They're known for there desserts made fresh everyday with local ingredients. Needless to say Andrew loved it! It's tucked away between shops and coffee cafes on 23rd Street in downtown Portland. I will always be a lifetime customer!

Ahhh Portland...
