I have hands!

I am driving home from picking Brooke up from school when Brookie starts laughing

hysterically at Stella in the back seat.

So I ask her, whats so funny?

Brooke proceeds to tell me that Stella is angry

at her toy Sophie and biting it while yelling at it all at the same time.

Brooke wanted to take a picture on my phone so I could see...

Get that mean giraffe baby girl!

Stella Lucia is 3 months today! Three months? I continue to be shocked at how quickly time is passing. The pictures in this post were taken this morning - she is such a joy! Here's a fun fact about Stella: When being carried, she prefers to be facing outward. She is very curious and likes to see what is going on at all times. She also gives you these serious looks that you could swear it was the same look of the two great-grandmothers she was named after.

Hello my baby...

Things I know about Stella Lucia at 3 months old:

* She likes to delicately place her hand over her eye while she nurses. Its so sweet!

* She loves her bathies every night and to kick like crazy in the water.

* She is getting much better with her sleeping in the night, only gets up twice.

* She likes to have her belly blown on or kisses on those fat little cheeks of hers, she even lets out a real laugh now and then when you do it.

* She loves to snuggle when she first wakes up from sleep.

* She doesn't however like her car sear or long walks in her stroller, we have to keep those short and to a minimum.

* She loves to talk and have a conversation with you too!

* She's happiest in the mornings and loves to be outside in the cool morning air.

We closed on our new house today!

Today we closed on our new house!

We just got back from the title company and decided to throw Stella in the

stroller, lasso up the Moose and walk over to look at our new home.

You're probably wondering were is a picture of the house and why is it in Denver?

Well my friends, we decided to stay in Colorado after much thought and our new house is a work in progress but here it is in it's RAW current condition. We bought an older home to live in the zip code we wanted plus have mature trees/landscape without neighbors right on top of you. This house is also 3 blocks from Brooke's school too. Andrew and I love projects and it allows us to bring out our creative sides and make it unique to our style. We're doing a complete demo and taking the interior of the house down to the studs. We're living in the apartment until the remolding is done. I will post before and after pictures of everything once the interior remodel is done by the construction company. They said it should only take them 4-6 weeks....we'll see!

Next spring we are hitting the outside of the house with all new paint, new garage door, new front door, new exterior lights, new driveway (as you can see it REALLY needs it!), concrete edging in the yard, new sprinkler system, all new landscaping in the front and back and lastly a new fence. We've already started a few things ourselves with the outside of the house like take off those ugly purple shutters and white storm door, trimmed up some of the trees, clean up/water the yard and painted the orange trim, front door and garage door a rich brown to get us threw until next spring when we do the total exterior overhaul.

We are so excited!
