Ahhh.....Fall in Breckenridge!

We went to our favorite dog park in Breck to let Moose get some beans out before our hike...

We took Brooke out to ride horses again this year in Rocky Mountain National Park. This has become a fall tradition and she enjoyed every minutes of it! And I love that her little legs have finally grown enough from last year to actually fit around the entire saddle.

New Big Sister!

Andrew and I made a card for Brooke informing her of the baby news and wrapped it up in a big box. We gave her the present and watched in surprise as she opened it and read the card. It was pure delight to see her face light up! She is so excited to be a big sister in May.

Pregnant!

We just took a test today and are so happy/excited to announce that we are finally pregnant!

Back to school...

Brooke started 4th grade on 8/4/10, yes I know right in the middle of summer.

Got to love Colorado for that one! She is liking her new teacher and playing with

her old friends again.

Lazy Summer Days at Wash Park...

Wash Park is one of my favorite parks in Denver. It
has great walking trails with lots of walkers, cyclist and runners with

old mature trees and a small lake with lots of paddle boats and canoes. The homes

surounding the park are old brick bungalows with great character. We try to get

up there once a week to walk Moose. Watch the video below

Sold!

After months of showings, our house in Parker, Colorado has sold! It's funny how now that it's sold, I am little sad to see it go. We've had a lot of good memories with friends and family in this house along with all the hard work in remodeling it. However, it puts our family one step closer to Oregon next spring.

Ghost Hunters Academy, at your Wedding?

May 13th, 2010...

As we drove into the parking lot of The Stanley Hotel for our wedding we could not believe what was parked in the lot behind the hotel, the Ghost Hunters Academy! We are huge fans of the show and got to watch them all weekend investigate the paranormal inside the hotel. We even ran into Steve and Tango in the hotel, who were gracious enough to stop for a quick picture and talk to us. They were very laidback and friendly just as they seem on the show.

Is a blizzard on your Wedding Day good luck?

May 14, 2010...

Of course, the day of our wedding at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado a freak spring snow storm hit the mountains hard! We were planning for an outdoors ceremony and it ended up being a last minute change of plans to an indoor wedding inside the hotel. It all worked out in the end and it still had all the magic we dreamed of.

And they lived happily ever after!
