Let's go fly a kite...

Spring has finally come to the Rockies!

While out on my daily walk with Moose and my 9 month belly today it hit me that spring has finally come and I couldn't help but take a few pictures of it on my phone.  These trees reminded me of the song my
mother use to sing to me as a child, "popcorn popping on the apricot trees!"

Easter

These pictures uploaded backwards so I apologize in advance for having to start at the end of our day with Easter Dinner.  This year was very low key compared to the last 3 years with all my siblings flying in to enjoy Easter Sunday down at my Moms.  Instead this year, we had my mom come up and stay Saturday night and Easter Sunday with us at our place for a rainy day inside relaxing in our pj's.  It was great!

A Morning Hike at Red Rocks

Today we woke up to such beautiful spring weather that Andrew, Moose and I decided to get some Sunday morning breakfast and go for a hike up at Red Rocks. Brooke is at her grandparents for the weekend and wasn't with us on this hike. I still cannot believe that

I made it all the way to the top of the trail this pregnant!

Belly

This is my 9 month belly.

These photos were shot by my lovely and talented husband Andrew. They were taken after a wonderful lunch today at Stella's down in the Highlands of Denver with just the two of us. We came home afterwards to the perfect lighting in our bedroom and decided to take some pregnancy shots. Andrew said all the right things to keep me comfortable during the shoot. He was fantastic and I will always remember this moment we spent together. I love how the photos turned out and here are some of my favorite takes of the shoot...

Birthday Boy!

All Andrew wanted this year was a very low key birthday. So Brooke and I made

him his favorite dinner, bought one of his favorite beers and made him a brownie cake!

Needless to say, he licked his plate clean!
